Vacations come and go… and so do our plans to make them fruitful and worth their while! But yet another long holiday passes without anything substantial, happening. Of course, the list of can-dos and want-to-dos is never-ending and continues to mount on. But then again, the list of restrictions imposed on us by the world alike (especially parents), questioning the usefulness of our endeavours, is way longer than... Read→

Take ‘Improving India’ for example, It is supposed to be a matter very dear to our heart. So, if that is one of your passions… what are you doing about it? And NO!… I don’t mean joining communities/groups... Read→

No. the title is not about students of Hyderabad committing suicide. It s about students, especially those in engineering colleges, and their torturous journeys to their colleges in the APSRTC buses. Living in Hyderabad has really taught me many things, and one of them is not to be surprised when you see students and people hanging onto each other on the footboard, while the driver zooms at the top speed singing along to popular Telugu songs blaring down from the radio. It is perfectly natural and totally cool. Its not that every day I think about... Read→

OUCE student ends life

By St. Anik On September - 5 - 2008 ADD COMMENTS

A Civil Engineering student of OUCE Naga Malleswari reportedly ended her life by hanging herself with her ‘dupatta’ from the ceiling of her hostel room at the ladies hostel on the Osmania University campus. Her roommates found the room locked from inside around 3 p.m. and as she did not open the door despite repeated knocks, they alerted the security staff, who forced open the door to find her hanging from the ceiling, following her detention as she failed to clear all her first year subjects and hence couldn’t be promoted to the third year.                               ... Read→

I’m sure it’s the same with you…! Credit: dchen.wordpress.com Bad luck during examinations is something that seems to haunt students (like me) and I’m sure that all of you assume that you have the worst luck; nothing ever goes the way you plan.
